Two Lubbock businesses have announced plans to expand, bringing dozens of new jobs to the Hub City. The announcement was made Monday at the Lubbock Club.
Clear Talk wireless will add 67 full time positions, and actually chose Lubbock over Amarillo.
"At a time in our country when everyone is laying off, in Lubbock we continue to add jobs," said Kenny McKay, of the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance. "(It) is a testament to the companies that are here today."
Llano Estacado Winery also announced a one-million dollar expansion, allowing for an additional 50,000 cases of wine to be produced each year. They will also add three new full time employees.
