A survey of 26,000 college students turned out to be a real eye opener - finding that more than half have considered suicide.
The study comes from the University of Texas but their surveys went to 70 different colleges and universities, and they found more than half reported having at least one suicidal episode at some point in their lives.
Six percent of undergrads and four percent of graduate students had seriously considered suicide within the past year. Most said they considered suicide for relief from the emotional pain of a romantic relationship.
