Councilman Loses Appeal of Contempt Order - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The Lubbock City Council member at the center of a heated divorce lost his appeal of a contempt of court ruling.  

You may recall a judge found John Leonard in contempt earlier this month for failing to pay spousal support to his wife Mary Frances until their divorce is final.

A judge denied his appeal and found that Leonard owes his wife about $11,000 in support, plus attorney's fees and court costs.
