According to the American Psychological Association, money and the economy are the top stressors for nearly 75% of U.S. adults. The association says that the dollar signs of stress can lead to abdominal pain, neck spasms, even arthritis related trouble, and more. However, there are some things you can do to relieve stress at the work place.
Robert Schwartz, M.D., family medicine physician, says, "What if you brought ear phones and listened to quiet music while working? I'm a big believer in meditation as well and I think learning how to take five minutes off even if you have to go to the bathroom and lock the stall."
Exercise releases endorphins; the brain chemicals that make you feel better. So, if you can't make it to the gym just step outside and take a walk.
