A Traffic Stop That Ended With A Baby Being Born

A Dallas woman and her newborn are resting at the hospital after a delivery that was anything but usual. Little Kemia Alexis Mendoza was born on an I-45 overpass.

Kernia mother went into labor as her father was speeding to get to the hospital. That's when a Dallas County sheriff's deputy pulled the couple over for what turned out to be delivery duty." They're trying to tell me that they're in route to the hospital. She's having a baby. But I can see it." Kemia's mom was worried, "We really needed the help and I would have had the baby without anyone being there and who knows what would have happened."

The deputy escorted the family to the hospital, and in case you were wondering, the new parents did not get a speeding ticket
