Thousands Gather for LISD Convocation

Thousands of LISD employees gathered at the Civic Center on Friday to prepare for the upcoming school year. It's called a convocation, and this year's theme is "Education is an Adventure."

To go along with the adventure theme, the stage was set up to look like a jungle. Superintendent Jack Clemmons spoke to the crowd about the challenges for the upcoming year.
