Pedestrian Suffers Serious Injuries After Being Hit by Car

A Lubbock pedestrian is hospitalized after he was hit Tuesday night at 82nd and Quaker.

EMS took Lane Carter Watkins, 20, to University Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle fled after the accident, but officers located him a short time later.

Jason Hutchins, 33, is now in the Lubbock County Jail facing a charge of Intoxicated Assault.
