A meth lab operation in northwest Lubbock is now out of business. Cleanup crews from Fort Worth were in Lubbock Tuesday to help secure the scene.
Lubbock police found the active meth lab in the 5500 block of Grinnell around 5 p.m. Wednesday. They say intelligence and caller tips led them to the area. The narcotics division was then called to assist with executing the arrest warrant. Perry Wayne Brickley Jr., 42, and Tracy Dillashaw, 38, were taken into custody.
Both suspects are charged with the manufacture of a controlled substance and possession of the chemicals used to make meth, both of which are felonies, and a misdemeanor count of marijuana possession.
