City of Lubbock Moves Forward to Redevelop Downtown - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Lubbock is moving forward to develop downtown.

City Council members unanimously approved McDougal Companies to take on the huge project. McDougal will now oversee the entire effort much like the company has done with the Overton area.

The new plan for downtown could include renovations to the Civic Center, new parks, and a mix of retail and residential development.
