To those who might drink and drive this weekend - beware. 

Law enforcement will use this heavy traffic Labor Day weekend as a third test run of the No Refusal Policy. If you are pulled over for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and you refuse to take a Breathalyzer test, law enforcement can take you to a hospital and require a blood sample.

During the 4th of July weekend, Lubbock Police took eight drivers to UMC for blood tests.
