The chuck wagon cook-off highlighted Saturday's events at the 20th anniversary of the National Cowboy Symposium. Each wagon station was stocked with locally made cottonseed oil, and cooks came from all across the country.
NewsChannel 11 up with Greg Ploch from New Braunfels. "It's been an experience; we enjoy it. It's been a good way to get together and, like I said, we've met a lot of really nice people here in Lubbock," Ploch said.
Events continue through Sunday. You do need tickets for most of the events. A day pass is $10.00, and you can purchase tickets at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.
