Search Warrant In Hit & Run Case - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

No charges as of Monday night, but Lubbock police say they have the vehicle suspected to be involved in a deadly hit-and-run.  Authorities served a search warrant on the vehicle Friday, which is one day after 31-year-old John David Elam died at University Medical Center.

Investigators determined someone hit Elam and fled the scene at 13th and Quaker during the early morning hours of August 30th.  Lubbock police say they need to do more work to identify the driver.
