Trial Begins: Sexual Assault of A Child

A Lubbock man is on trial, accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl.  Jury selection was Monday for Samuel Mermella.

Specifically he's accused of aggravated sexual assault of a child.   The indictment says it was more than two years ago and the girl was less than 14-years-old at the time.
