Ribbon Cutting at Reliant, Houston's New Home

Houston Texans owner Bob McNair and city and Harris County officials cut the ribbon to mark the opening of Reliant Stadium on Thursday. It's the home of the newest NFL team, the Houston Texans.

The 1.9 million square foot facility will host its first football game on August 24th. The Texans will welcome Miami in a preseason game. The stadium which will seat 69,500, and it features a retractable roof, which is the first in the NFL. It was built next door to the Astrodome, the world's first air-conditioned domed stadium.

Reliant Stadium cost upward of $400 million.
