Sewer Gas Prompts Neighborhood Meeting

We have a follow up to a story NewsChannel 11 first brought you in late August.

Folks along 60th Street between Canton and University Avenues have complained of a rancid smell. It's believed to be sewer gas.  Apparently, some of the sewer lines in town are old and might need to be replaced.

So, City Councilman Todd Klein plans to host a neighborhood meeting Wednesday night to discuss that or any other issues.  It will be 6:30 pm in the Parsons Elementary cafeteria.  The school is near 60th and Boston Avenue.
