Veterans Break Ground for Lubbock War Memorial - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A dream for many area veterans took the first step to becoming a reality Thursday. The veteran's broke ground for a war memorial at Henry Huneke Park at 82nd and Nashville. The Lubbock Area Veterans War Memorial will honor the sacrifices made by members of the armed services. You can buy a brick to be placed at the memorial for $125 or $500 to have one placed around the flagpoles.
