Stormwater Rate Hike Put Off

Thursday the city was on schedule to raise stormwater rates by more than $1 for residential customers and more than $6 for businesses, but a little controversy got in the way.

Councilman John Leonard thought it was unfair that homeowers would have to pay more but not local school districts. So, city council members decided to wait until their next meeting to decide the issue.

NewsChannel 11 will keep you posted of developments on this issue.
