A Dallas attorney has figured out a way to make the most of all the time he spends at his desk.
Instead of sitting still and worrying about all of the fat that is sitting there with him, Ross Robinson has built a treadmill that can keep him moving while he works at his desk.
Ross says, "I've got three young kids, family activities, commute, long work days as a lawyer, so I thought why can't I just do two at the same time. I can talk on the phone, I can answer email, I can type on the computer, most things I can do, so I'd say about six out of eight hours every day I'm on the treadmill".
The treadmill desk has helped Ross lose 25 pounds in about 2 months. He believes he burns 100 to 200 calories an hour just by walking at a slow pace. It may not sound like much but Ross says it really adds up after a long day at the office.
