Rains End "American Tribute" Early - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Thursday's rains forced organizers to end the "American Tribute" in Kastman Park earlier than scheduled. Flood waters filled the park and surrounded the 1,000 American Flags.

Volunteers took them down Friday. They didn't want the flags to fall into the water or mud. The American Tribute was scheduled to stay flying through Monday.
