ATM Shooting Investigation Continues

Just before 6 a.m. last Wednesday, police found 21-year-old Colin Matthew Schafer slumped over the steering wheel of his SUV. It  was parked at the Bank of America ATM at 50th and Slide. Schafer had been shot twice.

Witnesses say the car they saw driving away from the scene was a dark colored 80's model cadillac. Investigators are working around the clock to find the suspects and solve the case. "Investigators in this particular investigation still have a vast amount of information to evaluate, accumulate, categorize and determine relevance," says Bill Morgan, Lubbock Police Public Information Officer.

If  you have any information on the shooting, call crime line at (806) 741-1000. Lubbock county medical examiners say the autopsy results should be out sometime next week.
