Munoz Appointed To Civil Service Commission

Barring any surprises, a Texas Tech official will also become a City of Lubbock official on Thursday.

City Manager Lee Ann Dumbauld will appoint Dr. Juan Munoz to the city Civil Service Commission, and the City Council will vote to confirm his nomination.

Munoz is a special assistant to the Texas Tech president. As a member of the Civil Service Commission, Munoz will help create and enforce the rules and regulations applicable to police and firefighters.
