2008 Hub City BBQ Winners

The 7th Annual Hub City BBQ Cook-off, presented by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and Suddenlink West Texas, awarded the best BBQ in the Hub City Thursday afternoon.

There were 89 teams entered this year, which included professional, corporate and amateur/student experience levels. The BBQ takes place in front of the Chamber office at Broadway & Ave. L and this year it was extended down Broadway to Ave. N to include the First United Methodist Church Family-friendly area.
