An accused kidnapper will be back in Federal court next week, following his not guilty plea on Wednesday. Kenneth Wilcox is charged with three counts of kidnapping for taking three children from their east Lubbock apartment.

An overloaded circuit sparked a fire in East Lubbock overnight. Flames broke out at the Lubbock Housing Authority's maintenance shop on East 19th Street around 11:30p.m.
