There are still NO confirmed cases of H1-N1, or swine flu, in Lubbock County at this time. However, Lubbock city officials are taking preventive measures just in case the virus spreads here.

House Bill 3385 was passed Thursday in the Texas House of Representatives. The bill, joint-authored by Lubbock Rep. Carl Isett, is intended to ensure the safety of Texas children.
