Texas Tech basketball fans will get their first chance to meet the men's and women's teams and coaches on Friday, October 10, at the Homecoming bonfire, and on Saturday, October 11, in Raider Alley.
Several members of both teams will be on hand around 8:30 p.m. and will hold a meet and greet autograph session immediately following the bonfire on the east patio of the United Spirit Arena.
Free pizza will be available to the first 200 people, and basketball t-shirts and posters will be available while supplies last. Fans are invited to take in the bonfire with the women's and men's basketball teams and head coaches Kristy Curry and Pat Knight.
The teams will also be signing autographs in Raider Alley prior to the Texas Tech vs. Nebraska homecoming football game on Saturday from 12-1 p.m. Posters and schedule cards will be available.
"Homecoming is a special time for students, parents, the university and our teams," said Knight. "I hope everyone has a great weekend. We look forward to seeing all of you out there Friday night and at the game on Saturday."
"We are excited for the homecoming weekend," Curry said. "It gives our alumni and fans a chance to come back to Lubbock to support our football team. We look forward to meeting the fans at the bonfire on Friday and then cheering on our football team on Saturday."
