Jaelyn Jimenez is a miracle child for 26th Annual Children's Miracle Network telethon. Jaelyn was diagnosed with leukemia on June 11th, 2008 and is fighting her diagnosis, and according to doctors doing very well.

Hundreds of children headed out to Mae Simmons Park Saturday morning for the 12th Annual Kids Fishing Derby. Sponsored by The 100 Black Men of West Texas Inc. and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens, the day is set up to teach young people how to fish and conserve wildlife resources.
