Gunfire Erupts At East Lubbock Home

What appears to be a domestic dispute ended with gun shots and one woman going to the hospital. It happened around 1:30 on Wednesday afternoon, in the 200 block of East 37th St. The woman was taken to a Lubbock hospital with an injury to her head. However, Sergeant Evaristo Diaz says that woman is the one who fired the shots. Diaz says the woman had been hit in the head with a blunt object.

Police found eight bullet shells, but Diaz says no one was hit.
