Lubbock Police continued to search for a shooting suspect Saturday evening. EMS took the victim, Travis English, 33 to University Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg. Authorities tell NewsChannel 11 the injury is non-life threatening.

A pretty day for a walk in the garden brought hundreds of people out for the Waterwise Garden Tour of Lubbock Saturday. The Lubbock Master Gardeners hosted the event in hopes to teach future gardeners how to save water.

History buffs got their fill of World War II history Saturday at the Silent Wings Museum with a free oral history training.

City crews start work on replacing part of Lubbock's downtown brick streets with asphalt on Monday. The street department will remove brick paving on Main Street from Avenue Q to Avenue O.

Lubbock Master Gardeners hosted a water wise garden tour Saturday afternoon. Each garden was set up with water conserving plants that people could look at to get ideas about how to make their own garden conserve water.
