Food for Thought Report 8.29

This Thursday's list is not a long one, but we hope you'll think the information is worth chewing on. The low down this week is, there are no low performers. But we do have a trio of tops to tell you about. Let's get started with some home style cooking in South Lubbock in another edition of Food for Thought.

From the ground up, it was a perfect performance for this little cafe with the down home cooking. 82nd Street Cafe gets zero critical violations this week, making them a Food for Thought Top Performer. "I want people to know that when they come in here that our food will be consistent, it will taste the same way each time they come in here," said owner Larry Pierson.

Pierson adds all the praise goes to his outstanding staff--especially since he was in Europe when the restaurant was inspected. And he's happy to give credit where credit is due. "Well in this case I have to give total credit someone other than myself--we've been gone as i mentioned for several weeks and my son and his wife and we have a staff that's been with us a long time," said Pierson.

On to our next Top Performer and they're no stranger to the list--Bakery Creations at 3414 82nd Street also gets a perfect score.

We wrap it all up with Burger Boy at 1902 34th Street, they're also a Food for Thought Top Performer.
