City Council Votes to Extend Airport Parking Contract

The Lubbock City Council voted on a temporary contract with APCOA on Thursday. The company is in charge of the airport parking lot.

Their five year contract with APCOA is up, but it is holding over while the city waits to hear plans from the airport board on the need for a new parking garage. The current contract has been extended one month, by then, the airport board should have a proposal on the cost, need, and design of a parking garage.
