Texas Tech Homecoming Parade Goes On Despite Rain

A little rain didn't stop participants and patrons from holding this year's Texas Tech Homecoming parade.

Around 70 floats took part in the parade which began at the First Baptist Church and made its way down Broadway to Memorial Circle. This year's theme was "Tech At Night, Tune In". Each organization involved decorated their floats with an old TV show as a theme.

While folks sported their ponchos and umbrellas for the parade, many more came out to Jones AT&T Stadium to see the #7-ranked Red Raiders beat the Nebraska Cornhuskers in overtime.  The homecoming game ended with Tech winning 37-31.
