Another Clovis Escapee Apprehended

Monday, another Curry County jail escapee is back in police custody.

Around 11:30 a.m. police found 29-year-old Michael England hiding behind a bed at an apartment complex in Clovis. Police arrested three other people on charges of harboring and aiding a fugitive.

England, along with seven other inmates, escaped from the Curry County Adult Detention Center on August 24th by climbing water pipes and cutting a hole in the roof.

Two of those men remain at large Monday.  They are 21-year-old Edward Salas and 18-year-old Louis Chavez.
