They are five of 20 who face federal charges for allegedly operating a drug running operation that stretched from the Northwest U.S. to Lubbock. Five people were arraigned and charged Friday in a Lubbock Federal Court. All five were charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Police arrested six others on Thursday, as well as nine people in Washington state.
Investigators say the suspects made the meth in Washington and then shipped it to Lubbock to be sold. If they are convicted they could get 10 years to life in prison, and up to a $4-million fine.
