Electronic Voting Machines Return for Presidential Election - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Electronic Voting Machines Return for Presidential Election

Much has changed since the last presidential election. Four years ago, Lubbock voters cast a paper ballot. This year, more than 163,000 Lubbock voters are registered to vote. So, those machines are new to those of you who have not voted since 2004.

This election, more than 110,000 are expected to vote for the next president but, unlike years past, this year it's all electronic. Lubbock County Elections Administrator Dorothy Kennedy walks us through how to use the new machines.

If you have any questions about the voting process, call the Lubbock County Voter Hotline at 775-1868. The hotline will be open through Election Day, November 4th.
