Scam Artist Targets Victim at Gordon's Jewelers

Lubbock Police are searching for a scam artist who targeted a victim at Gordon's Jewelers in the South Plains Mall.

Police say the suspect walked into the store and pretended to be looking at jewelry, and that was part of his plan to scam the victim out of $12,500.  

The suspect was a Hispanic man, about 5 feet 7-9 inches, and weighs around 250-270 pounds. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, black shirt, tan pants, and tennis shoes. He was also accompanied by a Hispanic female and another male.
