Limited Ballots Allow Voters Living Outside Registered Counties To Vote

If you currently live in Lubbock County, but are registered to vote in a different county in Texas, you still can cast a ballot in the November election by way of a limited ballot.

Limited ballots are for voters like college students who live outside the county that they are registered to vote in. It is a way that they can still cast a ballot and be a part of this presidential election.  But limited balloting is only available during early voting.

Lubbock County Elections Administrator Dorothy Kennedy says, "There will be a long line for limited balloting here on the 31st, so you should get it done early. Go ahead and start now to get your limited balloting done, especially if you are one of those students or in that position who just moved here.

Early voting runs through October 31st. For questions about your voter status call the Lubbock County Voter Hotline at (806) 775-1868.
