Former Mayoral Candidate Files Lawsuit, Claims Conspiracy - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A former candidate for Lubbock Mayor sues the Texas Secretary of State. Ysabel Luna says in his lawsuit that he wanted to run as an Independent candidate for County Judge. But he couldn't, or so he says.

Luna claims the state has created a conspiracy with Democrats and Republicans to stop Independent candidates from getting on the ballot. Luna also says the Secretary of State and the two major parties are violating anti-trust laws. State officials have not yet filed their response in court records.
