A family, formerly from Lubbock, is in trouble with the law for allowing a toddler to wander in heavy traffic.
A judge ruled that Ty'tianna Weatherspoon, 2, will remain in foster care after she was found Monday evening all alone in a busy street.
CPS is quoted as saying the family was investigated when they lived in Lubbock a few years ago, and again in the metroplex.
In Lubbock, they were accused of not properly caring for the family's two oldest children. All four are now in CPS care.
The parents, LaQuinta Weatherspoon and Maurice Stewart, told a judge that they did not realize the little girl was missing.
