New Rehabilitation Facility For Wounded War Dogs

There's a new hospital for veterans in San Antonio, but its not for humans. This new 15 million dollar facility on Lackland Air Force Base is providing advanced medical treatment for wounded combat dogs.

Army Veterinarian Major Mark Richie says, "They are so important for what we do. They're irreplaceable as a tool and I think that we owe them the best care that we can possibly give."

At the new facility the animals can get x-rays, CT scans and even rehabilitate on an underwater treadmill.
