A little nip here, a little tuck there, maybe you've thought it's not possible because you don't have the money or the time away from work for plastic surgery. But today, the time it takes to turn back the clock is getting shorter and shorter. Carolyn Weber opted for a facelift, and two weeks later, she was at her own wedding.
"Now, I don't feel tired because no one is telling me I look tired. I'd do it again in a heartbeat," says Weber. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons suggests that if you're thinking about a facelift, you should look for a board certified plastic surgeon, and be realistic about the results.
Coincidentally, turning back the clock is the focus of our segment, HealthWise at Five on Thursday. Dr. Jane Rowley, a board certified plastic surgeon here in Lubbock, will join us to talk about facelifts and eyelifts that can get you back to work in as little as two weeks. After the interview, Dr. Rowley will stay from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. to answer your personal questions in a live chat.
