A quarter of a million dollars worth of drugs, were taken off Lubbock streets around 7 p.m. Wednesday night.
Lubbock SWAT and DEA officers issued a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of County Road 2860. While there officers found nearly seven-pounds of mostly uncut-methamphetamine. Police tell NewsChannel 11 that the estimated street value of the drugs is about $250,000.
Enrique Perez-Hernandez, 46, and Adalia Perez-Hernandez, 39, were arrested and are charged with possession with intent to distribute 500-grams or more of methamphetamine. They are in federal custody, and are being held at the Taylor County Jail in Abilene for the time being.
