The U.S. government commented on the Gardasil vaccine and concerns about its side effects. They found that girls who receive the HPV vaccine do not have an increased risk of serious side effects,
After a review of adverse events, reports shows Gardasil does not increase the risk for blood clots, fainting, allergic reactions, or rare nervous system disorders. They looked at over 10,000 reports of side effects, and found that 94% percent were not serious. Of those that were serious, most were linked to underlying conditions.
