Some Estacado High School students learned what it's like to fly an Air Force jet on Thursday. The US Air Force Experience Tour is in Lubbock this weekend. It gives people a chance to sit at the controls of an F-16 Flight Simulator. The purpose is to recruit kids by showing them what they can do in the Air Force.
On Friday the tour continues at Monterey High School from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., then on Saturday and Sunday it will be at the Lubbock International Airport from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no charge to use the simulators.
