Daniel GreenThe suspect in a what police call a road rage killing could soon stand trial.
A Lubbock County Grand Jury indicted 25-year-old Steven Dan Torres for the murder of 24-year-old Daniel Green. Police say Torres shot Green after a fender bender on the morning of October 16th.
Witnesses say Green accidentally backed into Torres' pickup truck while leaving a Town and Country convenience store at 19th and Milwaukee. Torres allegedly chased after Green and fired several shots at his car. Green later crashed into a utility pole in the 2400 block of West Loop 289. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Torres is in the Lubbock County Jail on $500,000 bond.
