Alleged Thief Pays for Makeover with Stolen Checks - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Lubbock Police hope surveillance images will help them catch some alleged thieves.

Take a look at this couple, police say they used credit cards and checks stolen from a vehicle only minutes earlier. Then they drove their dark green Mitsubishi Montero to several Lubbock stores, but it was the Wal-Mart on South Loop 289 that caught them on camera.

Take a close look at the woman. Here, her shoulder length hair is black. However, a Lubbock hairdresser says it is now blonde with caramel and bleach blonde highlights, paid for with one of those stolen checks.
