Man Struck By Vehicle

Someone used a truck to intentionally hit a man last night at the Boom Boom Caberet. At least, that's what sheriff's deputies were told.

Deputies are not certain about who the driver was, but they are investigating.

EMS took the victim to the hospital with a possible broken leg. Major Don Carter has asked NewsChannel 11 to withhold the name of the victim, for his safety.

Initially, NewsChannel 11 reported that someone was arrested at the scene. Carter says that arrest was not unrelated to the case.
