Police Investigating Central Lubbock Shooting

The investigation continues into a shooting in central Lubbock.

Police say shots were fired around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday during an altercation at the Town & Country convenience store at 34th and Avenue Q.

Police were unable to provide more details on the shooting as the investigation is ongoing.

    Four Roosevelt High School seniors are in New York City preparing to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Jasmina Perez (clarinet), Jessica Sherrill (Clarinet), Davina Meyer (Flag) and Azelin Meyer (Trumpet) are all seniors at Roosevelt High School. All four had to audition for the parade and say other people from their school applied, but didn't get accepted.
