County Commissioner Races to be Decided Election Day

It's not just the new President of the United States that will be decided Tuesday, but also the winners of the County Commissioner races, Precinct 1 and 3. Will Precinct1 Republican incumbent Bill McCay hang on to his position or will Democrat John Miller take over as County Commissioner?

McCay did some last minute campaigning as he visited all 50 voting locations.

"We have a lot of things in process right now, we want to complete the jail on time and keep it under budget, we've got a lot of programs that we are working on and we want to complete those and I'm excited about continuing that," says McCay.

John Miller says he finished up campaigning this past weekend and believes that the outcome lies in the early voting numbers.

"We've done all we can do and we are real confident that we ran a good campaign and now it's just up to the voters whether they want someone to hold the line on taxes or whether they want risk," says Miller.
