"Well, I guess that everyone knows they should do a good deed, but I think the good deed that everyone should be doing along with September 11th is prayer. We need to thank God for everything he has given us, even the people who are gone," said one Lubbock resident who works at Luby's.
"I'll be thinking about the families and praying for them," said a Texas Tech Student.
"I'll probably play a little golf. I've already got my flag up," said another Lubbock resident.
"I said pray for another good day and the ones that lost loved ones. It won't happen again," said one woman as she was driving away in her car.
"I'll be working with Habitat for Humanity building 15 houses up in a part of Lubbock," said a worker with Americorps.
"Say a prayer for everyone," said a mall worker.
"I plan on going to the memorial the city is having. I don't have classes and I'll be thinking about it," said a Texas Tech student.
