A South Plains man is convicted of downloading child pornography from the internet. According to the Seminole Sentinel Newspaper a federal jury in Midland convicted 40-year-old John Eric Gilliam.
He'll be sentenced at a later date to at least five years and maybe as many as 20 years in prison. Investigators with the State Attorney General's office investigated Gilliam after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
